Behavior Problem Helpdesk—On-line help

The Ethology Institute offers this outstanding and unique on-line service to all our subscribers: the Behavior Problem Helpdesk. This service is free of charge. All you have to do is log-in and click 'Behavior Problem Helpdesk'. You can, then, submit the specific problem behavior of your dog, horse, or cat to us anytime you like. You create a behavior problem ticket, and choose category (dogs, horses, cats, other animals) and priority (urgent, high, medium, and low).

We will answer you, as a rule, within 14 days (medium priority) and in urgent cases (urgent priority) within 48 hours. Besides, our subscribers also have access to our knowledge database and FAQ where they can search for a problem similar to theirs and maybe find a solution or get inspiration as how to solve the problem.

Please, note that we are building up the database and FAQ at this very moment. Your questions will help us build it up. Our knowledge database grows by the day. With your collaboration, in one year's time, this will be the largest database available on behavior problems in companion animals.

To submit a behavior problem, or search our knowledge database, you must be logged in. Then, click the sub-menu 'Behavior Behavior Helpdesk' that will appear to the left under 'Behavior Problems' and on the top menu.

Live Consultations
We offer dog, horse, and cat owners the possibility of consulting Dr. Roger Abrantes in connection with talks and seminars. To make an appointment, please contact us in advance. Please e-mail Dr. Abrantes directly. Fee: €180 for one consultation (approx. US$ 255).

We don't sell time, we sell solutions!
One consultation takes the time it takes. Simple cases can take one hour while more complex problems may take up to two or three hours. The price is the same; we provide help and solutions, we don't sell time. In addition, all owners are welcome to stay in touch with Dr. Abrantes, by E-mail or phone, to follow up and update prescribed therapy programs; this service is free of charge.
